The beginning

Thank you to my wife for the artistic picture!

This is just the beginning. That is how I see it, that is how I envision it, this is kind of the beginning of a dream…

2021 is off to a great start with lots of inspiration. As mentioned in the “About” section, after listening to Neil Pasricha talking about Happiness and having read through a third of “Linchpin” from Seth Godin, I decided to start this blog. And the decision has been a team effort together with my coach, Yesim Yerli. It was through the conversations and coaching exercises we did together that I decided to ship this project. Thank you Seth Godin for the concept of shipping, I hope I got that one right!

My dream vision is to become a writer and a speaker and I am committed to start the journey here.

My first idea: I would like to interview people that I believe are “Linchpins”. I would like to post a summary of the interviews in the blog so that those stories can inspire other people. It would be about “Normal people’s stories for normal people”. And I want to do it in a distinctive way which I still haven’t thought deeply about. I have people in mind already, my father, my father in law, my brother, old managers, professors and friends.

My initial expectation: I would like to do 12 interviews, 1 x month. I would probably have to catch up throughout the year since it is February 2nd already.

The audience: People like me who are in the lookout for inspiration, who really want to become indispensable in their jobs, who want to be artists, who want to make a difference and avoid mediocrity. I want to connect the Linchpins I know with people on search of Linchpin’s inspiration.

From warm Argentina and typing from the backyard of my in-laws where we are temporarily leaving to skip cold New Jersey, I want to thank Alejandro Brega for helping me with starting this blog and I want to welcome all future readers.

Now, it is time to ship this first story…
