A new idea!
A couple of days ago I came up with a new idea for the blog, my Twitter (@Gustipi) and Instagram (@Gus.Pisani) channels. The idea consists of taking a sentence I really like from my interviewees and make a drawing for it. I have two objectives behind the idea: 1. Highlight those things that people tell me and I feel good about because it inspires me and also it is aligned to the “Linchpin” concept and 2. I am challenging myself and trying to spark some creativity since I have never been good at drawing. I have done two drawings so far and I am enjoying this a lot. Please see the first one below and the next in a separate story.
The Y
When I was interviewing Eduardo, my father in law, he mentioned the “Y” several times. He uses this letter to talk about a path in life that sometimes puts two options in front of us and forces us to make a decision that will impact us for the rest of our lives. Early in his life, he had to decide whether to continue his professional life in the commercial field as a sales person and potential business owner or to change completely his path, move to the country and work in the field to make a living. He opted for the latter and he has been, in my eyes, very successful. You can read the full interview in the blog. This is my tribute to his expression of the “Y”.
